SoBo Rider
Rental Terms & Conditions
Effective for all SoBo Rider bike and scooter rentals.
- The customer confirms that all information and documents provided are genuine, valid and correct.
- The customer must hold a valid driving licence legally authorising them to ride the rented vehicle.
- Only the customer named in this agreement may ride the vehicle. Sub-renting or handing the vehicle to an unauthorised person is prohibited.
- The customer must follow all applicable traffic laws, helmet requirements, parking rules and other legal requirements.
- The vehicle shall not be used for racing, stunts, illegal activities, prohibited goods, unauthorised commercial delivery or any unlawful purpose.
- Late return may attract additional rental charges and applicable late fees.
- Traffic challans, parking fines, towing charges and penalties arising during the rental period are the customer's responsibility.
- Any accident, breakdown, theft, police action or seizure must be reported to SoBo Rider immediately.
- The customer shall not repair, modify, remove parts or accessories, or tamper with any GPS device without written permission.
- The customer is responsible for loss or damage caused by negligence, misuse, unauthorised riding or breach of this agreement, subject to applicable law and insurance terms.
- In case of theft or loss, the customer must immediately inform SoBo Rider, cooperate with police and insurance procedures, and provide all required information.
- The refundable security deposit of Rs. 2,000 will be refunded after return and inspection, subject to lawful deductions for unpaid rent, late charges, fuel shortage, challans, damage, missing accessories or other payable amounts.
- The vehicle, keys, helmet, documents and accessories must be returned in the agreed condition.
- SoBo Rider may lawfully recover possession of the vehicle in case of misuse, non-payment, fraudulent documents or material breach of this agreement.
- The customer confirms the vehicle condition, existing scratches, fuel level and odometer reading were checked and accepted at pickup.
- This agreement does not override applicable transport, permit, registration, insurance, tax, consumer protection or other legal requirements. Vehicle rental and use remain subject to applicable law.
- Disputes shall be subject to applicable law and the jurisdiction of competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
